Is there a catalogue of Allan Houser's available sculpture?

During his lifetime, Allan Houser created approximately 450 different limited edition bronzes. Additionally he made as many as 500 unique works in wood, stone, and fabricated metal. A majority of these works have been sold and are housed in both public and private collections. Allan Houser Inc. currently has approximately 250 titles of bronze, unique stone sculpture, painting, drawings, and lithographs available for purchase. Because the availability and prices are subject to change due to prior sale, a permanent catalogue is not published. We are, however, able to provide a selection of works available with a specific price range or subject in mind.

Are Allan Houser bronzes still being manufactured?

Of the 450 lifetime bronze editions Allan created, nearly 375 have been sold out and castings are no longer available. Additionally, many more editions have been entirely cast out, with only a few remaining copies in our available inventory. To insure the quality and integrity of bronzes remaining to be produced from these lifetime editions, the family of Allan Houser modified and expanded his sculpture studio to accommodate a complete bronze foundry in April of 1996. Staffed by skilled artisans who had decades of experience working directly with the artist, the foundry provides Allan Houser Inc. with firm control and documentation of all works created during his lifetime. Recognizedd for its un-parralelled craftsmanship, the Allan Houser Foundry is now one of the most highly sought-after casting facilities by artists throughout the world. Instituitons or artists interested in contracting production may contact the Allan Houser Foundry at (505) 471-3144 or by viewing the foundry website at www.allanhouserfoundry.com.
